Locker Rentals

Lockers rentals for the 2025-2026 academic year are now full. Please contact the SLC Operations Manager to be placed on a waitlist! We apologize for any inconvenience.

Need a secure and convenient place to store your belongings on campus? The Student Life Center offers locker rentals on the first floor of the Queen’s Centre, providing easy access for your day-to-day needs.

Locker allocations are first come, first serve. Please contact the SLC Operations Manager for locker availability.


Rental Periods

Lockers are available to rent by semester, corresponding with summer, fall, and winter academic terms. The SLC will provide the locks, personal locks cannot be used.

All lockers are conveniently located at the central student hub, on the first floor of the Queen’s Centre.

Locker Rental Terms & Conditions

  •  The SLC or Alma Mater Society (AMS) is not responsible for any contents stored in rented lockers.

  • Rental periods shall correspond with the summer, fall and winter academic semesters.
  • At the end of the rental period, any belongings left in the lockers will be removed and held for two weeks. A $10 recovery fee applies if you wish to retrieve these items. After two weeks, any unclaimed items will be discarded unless the locker is renewed for the next period.

  • The SLC or AMS will not access locker contents during the agreed-upon rental period unless directed by Queen’s University or law enforcement.

  • No food should be stored in the lockers for extended periods.

  • Only SLC-provided locks are allowed. If a personal lock is used, it will be removed and replaced with an SLC lock.

  • Renters are responsible for reporting any locker malfunctions or damages.
  • Should you wish to renew a locker, this must be confirmed with the SLC Operations Manager at least two (2) weeks in advance of the rental expiry date
