Bookable Spaces
The Student Life Centre offers a variety of bookable table and room spaces within the Queen’s Centre, Rideau Building, and Mackintosh-Corry Hall. Table bookings are available at the Queen’s Centre and Mackintosh-Corry Hall, while room bookings are available at the Rideau Building.
Bookings are available for:
Community
- Clubs (both ratified and non-ratified)
- Individual students for non-profit purposes not acting on behalf of a charitable organization
Classic
- SGPS
- AMS services/commissions
- Queen’s University departments and services
- Queen’s student-run businesses
- Non-profit organizations for charitable purposes
Commercial
- Small businesses operating in the Kingston area
- Municipal government services
- Bookings made for revenue-generating activities
Corporate
- Major businesses, brands, or chains (including major franchise chains with an individual proprietor)
- Provincial & federal government services
The SLC offers monthly discounts to ratified clubs, faculty societies, and AMS services. These include:
- One (1) free 0–4-hour table booking in the Queen’s Centre per month
- One (1) free 0–4-hour room booking in the Rideau Building per month
- Two (2) free 0–4-hour table bookings in Mackintosh-Corry Hall per month
For AMS ratified clubs and faculty societies, associated emails must be used for bookings in order for discounts and/or promotions to apply.
