Interested in storing your club’s equipment within SLC spaces?

    The KeyCafe

At the SLC, we recognize how important it is for clubs to have reliable, round-the-clock access to their spaces.

That’s why we introduced the KeyCafe system in the Queen’s Centre, to ensure clubs can access their rooms even outside of front desk hours.

By eliminating the need to sign keys out at the front desk, the KeyCafe has made things simpler, faster, and more efficient, quickly becoming a KEY part of the SLC experience (pun intended).

The KeyCafe Facilitated 6,000+ Key Exchanges in the 2024–25 Year

A tried and true system supporting reliable, year-round club access at Queen’s.

    Hourly Usage

Even after the SLC front desk closes at 10 PM, key pickups remain steady. By providing secure, after-hours access to club rooms, the KeyCafe has made it easier than ever for students to access their spaces on their own schedules.

    Monthly Usage

KeyCafe usage continued even when the SLC front desk was closed during Reading Week (in October and February) and winter break (in December). This highlights the system’s vital role in maintaining uninterrupted club room access throughout the academic year.

Now, the real question is… How will your club make the most of what the SLC has to offer?
