AMS Club Directory

Queen’s Student Experience Office (SEO)   

The Student Experience Office offers a wide range of programs to help students adjust to university life and build essential skills (i.e. leadership, EDII knowledge)  


Q-Success Mentorship Program  

Run by the SEO, the Q-Success Mentorship Program offers one-on-one mentoring to ensure first year students are able to smoothly transition to university life.  



Campus Groups 

Queen’s University International Centre (QUIC) 

QUIC runs community events, and drop-in advisory sessions for international students, creating a welcoming campus environment for international students

Four Directions (4-D)   

The Four Directions Indigenous Student Centre provides study spaces, access to laundry machines, and a pantry/full-access kitchen to Indigenous students on campus. Their team also facilitates cultural activities such as drumming, beading, and social and academic wellbeing programming. 

Faith and Spiritual Life  

Faith and Spiritual Life provides multi-faith, non-judgmental support for spiritual, religious, and existential questions and conversations. Their team  creates a welcoming and peaceful environment where spiritual wellness is valued and nurtured.   

    The Yellow House (Student Centre for Equity & Inclusion)  

    The Yellow House aims to foster a safe place for students who identify as members of the 2SLGBTQ+ community  

    The Ban Righ Centre 

    The Ban Righ Centre assists women-identifying students of all ages. It serves as a hub of campus life for mature women students and mothers from diverse backgrounds, offering a space to connect with peers and build a supportive community. The centre offers student advising, financial assistance, and events/workshops.

      Student Wellness Services (SWS)

      Queen’s SWS provides easy access to on-campus medical professionals and mental health counsellors (for short-term therapy).  SWS offers many programs to support mental and physical health, as well as help students achieve their academic goals.

      AMS Peer Support Centre (PSC)  

      The Peer Support Centre is a student-run listening and resource referral service that provides drop-in and appointment-based one-on-one peer support. PSC volunteers aid students with a wide range of personal, mental, academic, social, and emotional concerns.  


      Empower Me 

      Empower Me is a confidential mental health and wellness service that offers 24/7 multilingual counselling. Call 1-844-741-6389 to get in touch with them. 


      Sexual Violence Prevention and Response Service   

      The SVPRS provides non-emergency support to help an individual understand their options following an experience of sexual violence. The service also connects the individual with other support services.

      Student Academic Success Services  (SASS) 

      Queen’s SASS helps students learn how to study effectively and develop their academic English skills. They offer a variety of workshops, events, and one-one appointments to help students reach their academic goals.

      Library Resources & The Adaptive Technology Centre 

      To get in touch with a librarian, research support, and any other library related inquiries, visit: https://library.queensu.ca/. 

      For student’s with disabilities, the Adaptive Technology Centre, found on the first floor of Stauffer Library, can help you reach your academic goals.  The centre contains an Adaptive Technology Lab with assistive devices, computer hardware, and specialized software that enable students to research, write, and study more effectively.

      Note: A student wanting to access the lab must be registered with Queen’s Student Accessibility Services

      AMS Food Bank  

      The AMS Food Bank is a non-profit, and non-judgmental food service for members of the Queen’s community. 


      Food Access Resources  

      There are many food access resources across campus and the Kingston Community. Including:

      • Student discounts at select grocery stores in Kingston
      • Campus food market pop-ups (i.e. LionHearts) 
      • Workshops hosted by Student Wellness Services to learn how to cook/meal prep

          AMS Walkhome 

          Walkhome is an AMS service which aims to help students get home safely at night. Students can request walks by visiting their website, calling them (613-533-9255), or visiting their kiosk on the first floor of the JDUC. 


          For immediate help:
